Hansel & Gretel

This is my light-hearted and humorous take on the rather dark fairy tale, Hansel and Gretel. The concept of this arguing version of the famous duo originated in one of my Daily Drawings several years ago. I had the full story kicking around in my head for a while, constantly drawn back to it because I felt it would be a story that all siblings (and of course those close friends who are like family!) would wholeheartedly understand. I have both fought until I cried and laughed until I cried with my own brother over the years, so naturally I dedicated the book to him. :)

This book is very important to me as it is not only my first children's book but also the first time I've truly merged my love for storytelling and writing together with my love for painting! It was a whirlwind getting this book completed, but I'm very happy with the results and I hope that it can bring a smile and a laugh to everyone who reads it!
